The first edition of the Italy India Innovation Day is a call for start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs based in India that are looking for international opportunities.
The initiative is promoted by AIICP the India-Italy Association for Cooperation and Partnership https://italindia-aiicp.it/en/ and it looks for Indian start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs with innovative technologies, products and services mainly, but not only, in the mobility, energy, digital, industry, green chemistry and deep-tech fields.
Large Italian companies will meet the Indian start-ups and scale-ups including companies that are member of AIICP: Bonfiglioli Riduttori (industrial automation), Danieli (metalindustry), Dell’Orto (mechanics/automotive), Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (transport/railway) , Fincantieri (shipyards), Generali (finance/insurance) , Marcegaglia (Steel Processing), Maire Tecnimont (chemical/oil & gas) Noonic (digital industry), Piaggio&C. (vehicles), Pininfarina (design/automotive), Sace (finance/insurance), Snam (energy), Intesa San Paolo (banking), as well as Indian corporations such as JSW Group (Steel, Energy, Cement and Infrastructure) (vehicles/automotive), and institutions such as Confindustria (Italian industry association), Italian Embassy to India, Indian Embassy to Italy. The Italy India Innovation Day 2021 also hosts Enel Innovation Hubs (energy/utility) among the Italian companies meeting with the Indian start-ups and scale-ups.
The Embassy of Italy in India (https://ambnewdelhi.esteri.it/ambasciata_newdelhi/en/) and ICE, the Italian Trade Agency (https://www.ice.it/en/), are partners of the initiative.
All these companies will meet the selected Indian start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs in an online pithing section on July 14th 2021.
The project is aimed to create potential industrial, commercial, financial partnership with Italian companies and it represents an unique opportunity for Indian start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs with interesting innovations in terms of products, services, technologies that are also interested to expand their business to Europe.
