PROCEDURES FOR STUDENTS WISHING TO ATTEND HIGHER EDUCATION COURSES IN ITALY FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-2021

The Embassy of Italy in New Delhi is pleased to inform that services for Indian students wishing to attend higher education courses in Italy for the Year 2020-2021 are now active.

The jurisdiction of the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi includes: The Union Territories of Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh, and the States of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The services offered by the Embassy of Italy are the following:

- Student visas;
- DoV - Declaration of Value (whereas required by the pre-enrolment procedure);
- Pre-enrolment procedure (whereas required);
- Tax code (whereas needed).

 

Please note that the Italian Government has adopted new procedures for the pre-enrolment and the enrolment of non-EU students in Italian higher education institutions for the Academic year 2020-2021.

The procedures vary according to the course chosen:

a) Laurea degree and Laurea magistrale degree courses (pre-enrolment procedures will be channeled exclusively through the UNIVERSITALY portal

b) Courses at higher education for art, music and dance institutions (AFAM), Higher Schools for Language Mediators (SSML), Institutes in Psychotherapy Specialization and Post-Diploma Technical Specialization courses organized by Higher Technical Institutes (ITS),

c) Other courses.
