Week of Italian Cuisine in the World – third edition

Are you ready to experience a week of mesmerizing events? Embassy of Italy in India organizes the third edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World and participates to the Luxury Symposium organized by India’s great fashion stylist Ritu Beri, and is proud to bring Italian eno-gastronomic traditions to Delhi again!

A strong focus of this 3rd Week of Italian Cuisine will be on Mediterranean Diet and its ingredients. Italy’s agri-food sector strengths are well known: quality, sustainability, food safety, right to food, education, identity, territory and biodiversity. In a word: healthy living!

Together with Partners and Sponsors, we are preparing the ingredients for the perfect recipe of events, workshops, tasting sessions, competitions and the high profile Luxury Conference that will be the….cherry on top!

The programme will start from the 23rd of November, with a dinner dedicated to the Composer Maestro Gioachino Rossini (and a renowned gourmet, did you know that?) at the Italian Cultural Centre on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of His death, followed by the Grand Opening of Week of Italian Cuisine at Chanakya Mall on the 25th of November; on the 26th, a Conference on Geographical Indications with experts is scheduled at the Italian Cultural Centre, while on the 27th, Sorrento Restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel in Delhi will host a workshop on “Gelato Italiano” and a Competition between Italian and Indian prestigious Schools of Cuisine; on the 28th of November the programme will focus on the theme of this 3rd Edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine with a Conference on Mediterranean Diet at the Italian Cultural Centre, followed by a theme dinner at QLA restaurant in Mehrauli.

On the 30th, get ready for the most incredible Luxury Symposium of the world, with the participation of extraordinary luxury Italian brands and relevant Indian Authorities.
