Recognition of Indian qualification
Foreign qualifications are not automatically recognised in Italy.
Holders of Indian qualifications (awarded by officially recognised educational institutions or professional bodies) who intend to have them recognised in Italy need to apply for Declaration of Value at the relevant Italian Embassy or Consulate in India or, in alternative, they need to apply for a Statement of comparability issued by an ENIC-NARIC centre in Italy.
Once recognised and declared equivalent to an Italian qualification, they will have legal value in Italy.
