\nYou will be grateful to anticipate to the Consular Chancellery by e-mail (consolare.newdelhi@esteri.it<\/a>) together with the appointment request, the full copy of the birth certificate, in order to verify the obligations required by the Italian legal system for transcription (explicit recognition by the mother, act of consent by the parent who recognized it first). The Consular Chancellery will then take care to contact the interested parties for the completion of the procedure.<\/p>\n
\nThe birth certificate must be delivered to the Embassy, together with the application form (available at the following link: Click here<\/a>\u00a0and a copy of the parents’ passports, for subsequent transmission to the competent Italian Municipality.<\/p>\n
