Transcript of divorce decrees<\/p>\n

The request for transcription of the divorce can be submitted personally by anyone interested (former spouse and \/ or children) to the Italian municipality where the marriage certificate is transcribed.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, Italian citizens residing in this consular district and registered with AIRE can submit the aforementioned request to the Consular Chancellery of the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi.<\/p>\n

The request for transcription of a divorce decree (available at the following link: (Modulistica \u2013 Ambasciata d’Italia New Delhi (esteri.it)<\/a>)<\/a>, must be attached:
\n– a valid identity document of the applicant,
\n– the substitutive declaration of notarial deed (available at the following link: (Modulistica \u2013 Ambasciata d’Italia New Delhi (esteri.it)<\/a>\u00a0made pursuant to art. 47 of the DPR 445\/2000 in which the applicant certifies the existence of the requirements referred to in art. 64 of Law 218\/1995 and declares that the judgment is not contrary to other judgments pronounced by an Italian court and that a judgment is not pending before an Italian judge for the same subject matter and between the same parties;
\n– the complete copy of the judgment, complete with the requirements of art. 64, duly legalized with Apostille<\/p>\n

The documentation can be submitted to the Consular Chancellery by sending the originals of the aforementioned documentation by ordinary mail or private courier to the following address:<\/p>\n
