Italian Fashion Days in India: Italian Style Takes the Stage in Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre data-start=\"122\" data-end=\"220\">PRESS RELEASE<\/pre>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"122\" data-end=\"220\">Italian Fashion Days in India: Italian Style takes the stage in Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"222\" data-end=\"682\">The excellence and creativity of Italian fashion <strong>landed in India<\/strong> with the first edition of the Italian Fashion Days in the World (Giornate della Moda Italiana nel Mondo \u2013 GMIM), an initiative promoted by the <strong data-start=\"439\" data-end=\"472\">Embassy of Italy in New Delhi<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"478\" data-end=\"509\">Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"562\">Italian Cultural Institute in New Delhi<\/strong>, in collaboration with <strong data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"602\">The Platform<\/strong>, an Italian fashion media company strongly committed to internationalization.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"1096\">From <strong data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"715\">October 28 to 30, 2025<\/strong>, three of India\u2019s most dynamic cities \u2014 <strong data-start=\"756\" data-end=\"792\">New Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad<\/strong> \u2014 hosted a rich calendar of events dedicated to the dialogue between Italian fashion and the Indian market. The initiative aims at highlighting the <strong data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"994\">quality, training, sustainability, and innovation<\/strong> of <em data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1013\">Made in Italy<\/em>, fostering new synergies among companies, designers, and industry professionals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1784\">The GMIM project was launched in <strong data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1147\">January 2025<\/strong> by <strong data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1169\">Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as part of the \u201c<strong data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1292\">growth diplomacy<\/strong>\u201d strategy promoted by the <strong data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1388\">Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1407\">ITA-Agency<\/strong>, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the main associations of the Italian fashion sector (ANFAO, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Confapi Uniontessile, Confartigianato Moda, Confartigianato Orafi, CNA Federmoda, CNA Orafi, Confindustria Accessori Moda, Confindustria FEDERORAFI, Confindustria Moda \u2013 Federazione Tessile e Moda, and Altagamma).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1786\" data-end=\"2022\">GMIM represents a global format designed to <strong>strengthen the international presence of Italian fashion<\/strong>, support the internationalization of Italian companies, and promote a shared narrative uniting culture, creativity, and industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2024\" data-end=\"2268\">After previous editions in Osaka, Dubai, and Brazil, and events organized by Italy\u2019s diplomatic-consular and cultural network around the world (beginning in Athens), <strong data-start=\"2194\" data-end=\"2203\">India<\/strong> becomes one of the main stages of the project in <strong data-start=\"2257\" data-end=\"2265\">2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2270\" data-end=\"2718\">The Italian Fashion Days in the World offer an important opportunity to reinforce the MAECI-ITA campaign<strong data-start=\"2364\" data-end=\"2402\"> \u201cOpportunItaly\u201d<\/strong>\u2014a tool of the Export Action Plan aimed at fostering business connections between Italian companies and foreign operators through digital business matching services and dedicated content for key <em data-start=\"2597\" data-end=\"2612\">Made in Italy<\/em> sectors, available on the <strong>online platform<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/opportunitaly.gov.it\/it\">www.opportunitaly.gov.it.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2725\" data-end=\"2761\">The Cities and Venues in India<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2763\" data-end=\"3277\">The series <strong>kickstarted in New Delhi<\/strong>, at the Italian Cultural Institute of the Embassy, with a <strong data-start=\"2863\" data-end=\"2894\">day of talks and networking<\/strong> focused on dialogue between Italian and Indian creativity.<br data-start=\"2953\" data-end=\"2956\" \/>Participants included <strong data-start=\"2977\" data-end=\"2994\">David Abraham<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2999\" data-end=\"3015\">Vidyum Singh<\/strong>, renowned Indian designers, in conversation with Italian designer <strong data-start=\"3082\" data-end=\"3118\">Francesco Corcione (Saman Loira)<\/strong> in a panel on <em data-start=\"3133\" data-end=\"3195\">Ecological and Social Sustainability in the Fashion Industry<\/em>, moderated by Andrea Anastasio, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3279\" data-end=\"3588\"><strong data-start=\"3279\" data-end=\"3311\">Matteo Marzotto (MinervaHub)<\/strong> has been interviewed by Maria Silvia Sacchi of <em data-start=\"3362\" data-end=\"3376\">The Platform<\/em> on <em data-start=\"3380\" data-end=\"3433\">Luxury Production: The Link Between Italy and India<\/em>, followed by <strong data-start=\"3447\" data-end=\"3494\">Antonio De Matteis (Kiton \u2013 Pitti
