Fiscal code for foreign citizens
For foreign citizens going to Italy on a valid visa for study, work or family reunion, the fiscal code will be issued by the relevant authorities (SUI/Questura) after their arrival in Italy.
Only in very specific cases, like inheritance, pension or when explicitly required by Italian authorities, foreign citizens residing within this Embassy’s consular jurisdiction can apply for a fiscal code by writing to consolare.newdelhi@esteri.it
